Configuring Policy module settings

Site Admin permissions are required.
Policy settings help you maintain a repository of relevant policies and set up notifications to keep those creating, reviewing, or signing a policy up to date. This guide will walk you through how to adjust these settings.

1. Policy Settings view
To access Policy settings:
- Open the Go To... menu.
- Hover over 'Site Admin' at the bottom of the menu.
- Select 'Policy Settings' (under 'Policies').
Once there, you should be presented with this page:
You can make all required changes from this view!
2. Notification options
To ensure that the Policy process is accurate, and all relevant parties are kept in the loop, you can choose to notify people when certain events are approaching.
To change which events trigger notifications, untick the box and click 'Save'.
Made a mistake? Don't worry!
You can use the 'Revert' button in the top-right of the page to reset the values to default.
3. Expiry options
You can choose to put a Policy into Expiring status as it approaches its Expiry Date to help keep your records neat.
To do so, highlight the text box and enter a value or use the arrows to cycle between numbers.
By default, the value is set to 7 days.
