Managing native logins on your site
Who is this article for?Site Administrators who are looking to disable or enable Native Logins.
Site Admin permissions are required.
Native login is a basic functionality that allows Users to log into the site using their username and password. There may be situations in which you may temporarily need to disable site access. This article will walk you through the steps on how to do that.
In this article:
1. General Options view
To access General Options:
- Open the Go To... menu.
- Hover over 'Site Admin' at the bottom of the menu.
- Select 'General' (under 'Site Options').
You will be taken to a page with a list of various site options.
2. Managing Native logins
To disable native logins:
- Go to the General Options view.
- Select 'Native Logins' from the list on the left.
- Click 'Native Logins▼'
- Select 'Edit'.
You'll be asked to confirm your choice in a pop-up modal. - Untick 'Allow Native Logins'.
- Click 'Save & Close'.
You will be able to see your setting on the overview page once it refreshes:
To enable native logins, repeat the steps above.
Native logins cannot be disabled without SSO alternative
You will receive an error if you try to disable the feature without having SSO configured for your site. If you need to prevent Users from accessing your site, contact our Support Team.
