Enabling links in trigger and notification emails
Who is this article for?Site Administrators who want to control what is contained in Action emails.
Site Admin permissions are required.
To make following up on Actions easier for your Users, you can include links to individual items requiring attention in the emails they receive. This article will take you through the steps on how to set up your Action emails.
In this article:
1. General Options view
To access General Options:
- Open the Go To... menu.
- Hover over 'Site Admin' at the bottom of the menu.
- Select 'General' (under 'Site Options').
You will be taken to a page with a list of various site options.
2. Enabling links in emails
To enable links:
- Go to the General Options view.
- Select 'Email' from the list on the left.
- Click 'Email▼'
- Select 'Edit'.
You'll see a pop up where you can activate the option. - Tick the box.
- Click 'Save & Close'.
You will be able to see your setting on the overview page once it refreshes:
Clicking on the link when not logged in?
You will be asked to enter your credentials on the site before you can view the item.
