Who is this article for?

Users who need to create Recommendations off the back of a completed Assessment.

Audits_Recommendation_Create or higher permissions are required.

Recommendations are suggested actions or improvements identified during an Assessment that aim to improve compliance and remediate any issues noticed during one. This article will show you how to create them.

1. Recommendations list

To access Recommendations:

1. Open the Go To... menu.
2. Hover over 'Assessments'.
3. Select 'Recommendations' (under 'Find Items').

You will be taken to an overview of all Recommendations on your site.

2. Creating a Recommendation

To create a Recommendation:

1. Open the Recommendations list.
2. Click 'Recommendations▼'.
3. Select 'New Recommendation'.
   You will be asked to enter the Code, Title, Description, Dates, and set Priority.
4. Click 'Save & Close'.

You will be taken to the Recommendation notebook where you can track its progress.

3. Editing a Recommendation

To edit a Recommendation:

1. Open the Recommendations list.
2. Select the hyperlinked title of the Recommendation you want to edit.
3. Click 'Recommendation Name▼'.
4. Select 'Edit'.

Here you can modify the values you entered when you first created the Recommendation.

4. Accepting a Recommendation

Before actioning a Recommendation, we recommend that it's accepted by appropriate persons.

To accept a Recommendation:

1. Click 'Recommendation Name▼'.
2. Select 'Acceptance & Response'.
3. Choose the correct option from the dropdown.
   You can also add a text response.
4. Click 'Save & Close'

5. Updating a Recommendation

To update a Recommendation:

1. Open the Recommendations list.
2. Right-click the Recommendation you want to modify.
3. Select 'Update'.
   You will see a pop-up modal where you can indicate the progress you've made on the Recommendation.
4. Click 'Save & Close'.

You can click 'Complete' in the pop-up if you've carried out all the steps required to action the Recommendation.
