You can extract all the relevant data out of the system in any way or format available in the Reporting module in Classic. For help with building these reports, have a look at our Classic help guide.
More information on backing up information ahead of deletion, see the Deleting old data from your site article.
Can documents stored in the application be extracted in bulk?
There is no feature which allows you to extract documents in bulk. Documents can only be downloaded individually.
Instead, the only available tool we have is to download all the documents as encrypted data and then decrypt the documents for you.
Documents extracted this way will have their names remain encrypted. They will also not be broken down by folder structures or modules, they will all just exist in one place.
It is an identical copy of what is stored within the Amazon S3 buckets, which we use to securely store your files. Each file has an encrypted name, but you will also receive a reference file which will inform you as to what filename each document refers to.
We are unable to provide a map from the database, which will inform you as to what document was linked to what item within your system. You could, however, produce a Document Report within Classic and pull in the Linked Item columns to create your own reference sheet.
Interested in getting your documents extracted in bulk?
If you wish to have your documents extracted in bulk, this is a chargeable service, so please contact your account manager who will be able to discuss this further with you.
