Creating and customising radar charts

Chart_Create permissions are required.
Radar charts display multidimensional data for one or more data points, with each axis representing a specific data dimension, and all axes originating from the same point to visualise how the data dimensions relate to each other. This guide will walk you through how to set one up.

1. Creating radar charts
To create a radar chart:
- Start by creating a trend chart.
Select 'line' in the 'Appearance' section. -
In the chart notebook, click the name of your data source.

Select 'Add Line Series'.
- Select the correct 'Field' for the type of data.
- Repeat the process for the remaining series.
- Click 'Appearance▼'.
- Select 'Enable Radial X-Axis'.
In the below example, we wanted to display the difference between the 'Value', 'Benchmark', and 'Target' series. This was the initial chart.
