Accessing and using the PIs updates screen

PIs Updates provides a place to update any items owned by you in one location. This article will show you through how to access it and explain what data appears on it.
In this article:
1. PIs updates screen
Browser
To access PI updates:
- Open the Go To... menu.
- Hover over 'PIs'.
- Select the banner under 'Requiring Action'.
You may see more than one row in the banner. They are grouped by Ownership, each displaying a count of items belonging to it.
You will be taken to the updates screen.
You can update all PIs listed here at the same time. Once you are done modifying the item, click 'Save' to update the information on each.
Classic
To access PI updates:
- Click the 'PIs' topic button.
- Select 'PI Updates'.
You will be taken to the updates screen.
You can update all PIs listed here at the same time, clicking (+) to expand any rows you need more information on. Once you are done modifying the item, click 'Save' to update the information on each.
2. PIs appearing in the screen
Only items which the logged-in User has the Permissions to update, and which are due for update will be displayed in the updates screen.
3. Configuring PIs updates
You can configure the columns displayed on the updates screen in Classic.
To change the settings:
- Open 'Site Setup'.
- Switch to the 'PIs' tab.
- Modify the ticked options under 'PI Update Column Selection'.
This will affect both the Browser and Classic screens.
