Using Risk Queries in Charts

Performance Indicators (PIs) are not the only data source that can be used in Charts. This guide will walk you through how to create a chart using a Risk Query.
In this article:
1. Setting up the chart
To set up a Risk Query chart:

Start creating a new chart.
Move onto the next step once you've opened the wizard. - Tick 'Use a Risk Query to provide data'.
You will notice that the 'Performance Indicator' section changes to 'Query'. - Switch to the 'Query' section.
This is where you determine which query you are going to use, and which variables are controlling each Axis. - Move to the 'Appearance' section.
- Select the display for your data.
- Go to the 'Review And Confirm' section to review your choices.
- Click 'Create Chart'.
- Query - Select one or more Queries to drive the chart.

Category column - Determines the X-axis (mandatory).
You can select between some of the column options that are available in your Query. The Additional Column section will list any Customer fields you have set up for the Risk Module. - Value options - Determines the Y-Axis. It is not mandatory, however if disabled, the chart will count the number of Risks rather than the value of the selected column.
Below is an example showing the average Risk Score for each Risk Status.
2. Configuring the chart
Column settings can be altered under the 'Data Classes' section within the Charts 'Set Up' tab.
