Adding and editing Dropdown Lists on your site

Dropdowns are an effective way to standardise inputs and make easier for Users to enter the right data consistently. This article will guide you on how to create and manage them.
In this article:
1. Dropdown Lists view
To locate dropdown lists:
- Open the Go To... menu.
- Hover over 'Site Admin' at the bottom of the menu.
- Select 'Drop Down Lists' (under 'Site Options').
You will be taken to an overview page with all dropdowns listed.
2. Adding Dropdown Lists
To add a dropdown:
- Open the Dropdown Lists view.
- Click 'Drop Down Lists▼'.
- Select 'New Drop Down List'.
You will be asked to name your List. - Click 'Save & Close'.
Once the page refreshes, you will be taken to a blank List where you can add options by selecting 'Add a Row'.
For each row, you can choose a Code, Title, and Icon that will be displayed when a User interacts with the List.
3. Editing Dropdown Lists
There are a few editing options you can access by selecting your List from the overview on the left and clicking 'Drop Down List Name▼'.
To edit a row, click its hyperlinked name to be brought back to the pop-up modal with the Code, Title and Icon selection.
To remove a row, click the 'x' icon next to them.
Not seeing a cross next to a row?
This means the option is currently in use in an active, inactive, or deleted item. Ensure the option is not in use before trying again.
